Optilogic introduces Ada to compress supply chain network design from months to days
Optilogic has introduced Ada, an AI agent designed to accelerate Supply Chain Network Design. Users can describe a business question in natural language, after which Ada can help clean and enrich data, build a baseline model, run scenarios and prepare results.
Optilogic reports that a model involving eleven data tables, a global supplier network and tariff analysis was built in one day, compared with a traditional timeline of up to twelve weeks. The work remains visible and controllable through Cosmic Frog and DataStar.
The announcement signals a shift from AI as an assistant for analysis toward AI helping construct and operate complex supply chain models.
This matters for Supply Chain Design because faster model creation can reduce the barrier to recurring network analysis. However, speed does not remove the need to validate assumptions, cost functions, constraints, service policies and scenario definitions.
Companies should retain version control, model ownership and human review before agent-built models influence footprint, sourcing or inventory decisions.
