Flowlity Roadmap Puts Planner Approval and Scenario Comparison at the Center of CoPlanner
Flowlity has outlined the next stage of its planning roadmap around two linked capabilities: CoPlanner will be able to propose bulk changes to a supply plan, show the expected impact and wait for planner approval before applying them, while Scenario Studio will let teams compare alternative planning assumptions side by side before promoting a selected scenario to live settings.
The Dataleo angle
The important shift is not that planners can chat with an AI assistant; it is that the assistant is moving into the change-and-commit layer of the planning cycle. CoPlanner’s preview-and-approve pattern is significant because it separates recommendation from execution, while Scenario Studio gives the planner a way to compare the consequences of competing assumptions before committing one to the live plan.
That operating model can create real value only if the projected impact shown before approval is calculated on the same planning logic and constraints that will govern the live result. The main failure mode is a convincing conversational recommendation whose preview does not faithfully represent downstream inventory, service or supply consequences. In that case, planner approval becomes a superficial control rather than a meaningful decision checkpoint.
This fits Dataleo’s focus on the decision flow rather than the interface: the differentiator is not natural-language planning by itself, but whether an AI-proposed change can be inspected, compared and deliberately committed inside a real planning cycle.
