Renault outlines Supply Chain AI industrialization projects using Dataiku

On 6 March 2024, Supply Chain Magazine reported Renault Group's AI@Scale efforts, including five Dataiku-based supply chain projects covering transport optimization, S&OP forecasting, risk management, S&OE simulation and inventory optimization. The article reported around 25 supply chain AI projects with a €45 million 2024 budget, and €10 million in stated value for the five Dataiku projects. These were reported project and investment figures, not proven savings or realized benefits; broad business-user access was a future objective. Reported by Jean-Luc Rognon for Supply Chain Magazine.

The Dataleo angle
Supply chain AI industrialization is an operating-model change, not simply the adoption of a data science platform. The prerequisite for value is to embed models in recurring planning decisions that business teams can operate; otherwise the project portfolio remains dependent on specialized data scientists, regardless of reported investment.
