Accelerator Digital Product Owner — Manufacturing & Supply Chain AI
Sanofi is hiring an Accelerator Digital Product Owner in Lyon to own and scale AI agents and AI-powered products across global Manufacturing & Supply Chain operations. The role is positioned inside Sanofi’s ambition to become a fully AI-powered biopharma, with use cases spanning planning, operations, quality and performance.
The role combines Product Ownership, hands-on AI delivery and industrial systems knowledge. Responsibilities include driving product vision, roadmap and backlog; designing and scaling decision-support agents, copilots and optimization agents; and working with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, IT, Data and AI teams to deliver measurable outcomes such as adoption, service level, quality, operational efficiency and ROI.
This position is particularly relevant for Supply Chain AI because it sits at the intersection of ERP, MES, QMS and planning tools. Sanofi is asking for a Product Owner who can both build AI-powered products and use modern AI tools in the Product Ownership workflow itself, including discovery, backlog refinement, prioritization, insights and documentation.
The governance dimension is also explicit: the job requires attention to GxP, data integrity, privacy and AI Governance. For regulated manufacturing environments, this signals a move from experimental AI pilots toward industrialized, compliant and measurable AI-enabled decision systems.
This job is a strong market signal for AI in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Planning. Sanofi is not only hiring for generic digital product management; it is looking for a Product Owner able to orchestrate AI agents inside real industrial workflows, across planning, operations, quality and performance.
The most interesting element is the blend of AI Agents, industrial systems and governance. In practice, this is the profile many large manufacturers will need: someone who understands the decision architecture between ERP, MES, QMS, planning tools and AI copilots, while remaining accountable for adoption, value and compliance.
