AI assistants increasingly shape how buyers, regulators and partners discover information about supplier risk, congestion, recalls and compliance. Incorrect or stale answers can influence operational decisions even when the underlying company data is sound. Supply chain visibility therefore needs canonical public sources, named data owners, update processes and governance for externally exposed information.
