Two-thirds of procurement organisations have AI ambitions their operating foundations cannot support

Research from Ardent Partners and Ivalua reports that 90% of surveyed organisations are exploring or piloting AI, but 67% combine high ambition with inadequate readiness. Fifty-nine percent identify weak data quality, structure or availability as a major barrier, while 23% are described as successfully scaling AI through stronger foundations, governance and integrated workflows.
