Semiconductor revenue signals must be separated from usable capacity
Aggregate sales growth does not reveal whether a specific node, package or qualified product has available supply.
TSMC’s June monthly-sales release is a useful demand signal, but revenue momentum should not be confused with usable capacity.
The affected decision is whether downstream production plans can rely on current semiconductor availability. Value requires node-, package- and product-level capacity and qualification data.
The principal failure mode is translating aggregate revenue growth into overly optimistic supply assumptions for constrained products.
