Gartner: planning autonomy will remain rare even after heavy AI spending

Gartner predicts that only 5% of organizations implementing planning automation will make at least 10% of their supply chain planning decisions autonomously by 2030. Gartner says its survey covered 243 senior leaders at organizations with at least $500 million in revenue, and that 83% had spent at least $3 million on planning automation and AI.
