Planning Explainability Must Answer Operational Questions

Technical explanations are not enough

A model explanation is useful to a planner only when it identifies changed inputs, binding constraints, trade-offs and expected consequences for Supply Chain Planning.

Practical implication

Every AI recommendation should show what changed, why the plan changed, which constraint mattered and what happens if the recommendation is rejected.
