WARNING: Only 21% of Enterprises Report Visibility Into Their AI Agents

A vendor-sponsored 2025 survey reported that only a minority of enterprises had visibility into the AI agents operating across their environments.

The finding suggests agents are entering critical workflows faster than inventories, monitoring and application-security controls can follow. Organizations should maintain an agent register covering owners, permissions, connected systems and shutdown procedures.
